Welcome

Seeking counseling can be a very difficult decision. Finding the right therapist to put your trust in and help you is extremely important and may take some time and research. By exploring my website and getting to know more about me, my approach, and the services I offer, I hope that you will feel more comfortable and confident in the process.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California providing counseling services. In addition to working individually with clients, I enjoy working with families, teens, children, and first responders.

I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Arizona State University and my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University. Before I began my practice in 2010, I worked in various settings throughout my career as a social worker, including hospitals, community based behavioral health clinics, school settings, as well as other outpatient settings.

I believe it is my responsibility to provide my clients with expertise and knowledge on a wide spectrum of topics and treatment options. As a result, I participate in frequent training and learning opportunities with other professionals and networks to improve my skills and expand my knowledge of treatment modalities and resources available to improve my clients' lives and functioning.

As you navigate through my site, please list any questions you have about me, my services, or how I could help you cope with the problems you are experiencing, and call or email me with these questions.

Thank you,

Minakshi Goyal, LCSW
